Maricopa County Community College: Wellness Intitiative

Information for Solicitors/Vendor

Thank you for your interest in collaborating with Wellness Maricopa.  All prospective vendors, presenters, health screen providers, or other types of service interested in working on a Maricopa Community College campus, you are required to provide a “Certificate of Insurance” that meets MCCCD’s insurance requirements.
The insurance requirements are posted online:

http://www.maricopa.edu/legal/rmi/coi_require.htm

What is a certificate of insurance?

It is evidence of insurance -- proof of a contractor's financial ability to pay for a loss caused by the contractor's negligence. No coverage benefits are afforded to the certificate holder.

When are certificates needed?

They're needed when another party performs services on our behalf, has our property in their care, custody, and control, and/or controls or directs our employees. The dollar amount of a contract may not reflect the actual risk. For example, some small-dollar contracts or purchase orders (such as pyrotechnic displays or transportation contracts) are high-risk exposures.

Please Read Our District Policy!

Maricopa Community College Administrative Regulation Regarding Solicitation

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Any solicitor who violates our administrative regulation may be deemed a trespasser on college or center premises, and therefore subject to appropriate prosecution within the discretion of the College Safety department and other responsible officials at the college or center.
